Feb 2010 Match at FRPC

Postby DAN HEFTA » Tue Feb 02, 2010 9:03 am

Fellow shooters, I have been thinking about starting our winter matches one hour later, so we would start at 11am instead of 10am. I think that it may be a bit warmer if we wait on hour, if you have a comment on this please post asap, our next match is only 4 weekends away and I want to give as much notice as we can.

I think the 11:00 am start for this match is a great idea. The extra hour of day warming time woud be good especially for the set up crew.

Sounds reasonable to me. I don't plan on doing anything else on a match day anyhow.

Ok, setup for our February and March matches will start at 9am and the match will start at 11am. I will change it on the calender. Bob could you send out an email to all of your contacts and announce the change? Thanks

Our Feb 27th match stages are posted on http://www.mapsa-uspsa.com , 98 rounds should be fun. Setup will start at 9am, shooters meeting at 11am. Remember all members that are planning on shooting should show up early and help with setup. Last match was really fun and setup was a piece of cake (thanks to all that helped out). The Huspeks are going to help with scoring this year, that is a huge help and scores will probably get posted really quick, thanks Jon and Nancy! :D

FYI, if you plan on shooting our winter matches and want to have that competitive edge, invest in some slip on ice cleats (there are several brands out there and I don't want to advertise for them) I just bought some at a local sporting goods store and they were less than $25, well worth the investment. Look in the ice fishing dept. See you at the range.

Any of the shooters on my squad#3 who want any of the pictures I took should email me at nielsenpcew@yahoo.com and I will try to get them to you.
