2010 Minnesota Section Match

The match will be Friday and Saturday...August 20 and 21st at Harris. I will be match director and Nancy Huspek will be RM.

There will also be a Tactical Rifle match on Sunday which will make for a great practice weekend since DPMS Trigun Challenge is the next weekend.

The applications for the Section Match should be posted on the main page shortly. They are also available at all points matches or email me and I will send you one. RO's get to shoot the match for free on Friday and work the match on Saturday. Set up will be on Wednesday and Thursday with food and beverage provided by the Section.

Just one more week to get your applications in with out a late fee. Friday is just about booked, so if you're planning on walking up, paying the late fee, and shooting, please show up on Saturday. I'm out west for the Rocky Mountain 3 gun now so all applications mailed to me this week will be processed next Sunday night or Monday. All unsquadded shooters should have received their PIN's by now. If not, please feel free to email me and I will take care of it.

I just completed the score sheets and wanted to post the round count for all of you, here it is 7 stages + crono 170 rounds + crono. So if you are a newb and you want to know how much ammo to bring... 300 rounds is a pretty safe number. I hope to see a lot of you at setup, otherwise see you at the Sectional.

Thanks to all the match coordinators and staff for putting on this match. Without your volunteering, we would not be able to enjoy a state championship. Somehow thanks isn't enough, but I don't have any extra money to give ya'll because it is going to God today. But, IF I DID HAVE EXTRA MONEY TO GIVE, YOU ALL WOULD BE THE ONES TO GET IT.
